Refund policy

1. The 7-Day "Change of Mind" (Cooling-Off Period)

In accordance with Section 16 of the CPA for electronic transactions, you have a 5 to 7 business day cooling-off period from the date of delivery.

  • Condition: The item must be returned in its original, unopened packaging and must be unused.

  • Costs: The customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the item to our designated fulfillment warehouse.

  • Refund: You will receive a full refund minus the original shipping fee and any non-refundable transaction fees (e.g., Payfast 3.5% fee).

2. Defective or Faulty Goods (The 6-Month Warranty)

Every refurbished laptop or desktop sold by Ndzitha IT Solutions comes with a standard 6-month hardware warranty (Section 56 of the CPA).

  • Process: If a hardware defect occurs within 6 months, we will arrange for a repair, replacement, or refund.

  • Exclusions: This warranty does not cover software issues, physical damage (cracked screens/liquid spills), or battery degradation (batteries are considered consumables and carry a 30-day guarantee).

  • Return Shipping: For verified hardware defects, we will cover the cost of the return courier.

3. Non-Returnable Items

For security and hygiene reasons, the following cannot be returned once the seal is broken:

  • Software licenses or digital keys.

  • External storage devices (USB drives/External SSDs).

  • Items specifically customized or upgraded (e.g., extra RAM added) at the customer's request.
